From the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia we have received really good news. We have now been rewarded with the label of Croatian Island Product for our authentic souvenirs that we applied to their recent contest. This project’s goal is to encourage island producers with the aim of producing original and quality products.
The Betina Museum of Wooden Shipbuilding wishes to motivate the making of authentic souvenirs related to the museum’s permanent exhibition and our culture and tradition. Our souvenir makers are passionate about their work and wish their souvenirs to be recognized and valued. This visual label will definitely help to improve the significance of the production on the island of Murter and our museum’s offer of original souvenirs.
The main idea is to promote authentic, original souvenirs and handcrafting. These souvenirs require awhole lot of manual work, care and love for each created item.
We look forward to their further promotion in the catalogue of the Croatian Island Product!
