In the upcoming week, starting from the 11th, Betina will host the 2nd annual event of Small Wooden Shipbuilding Days. Our desire with this programme is to point out the values small wooden shipbuilding has in our maritime heritage, with the special highlight put on the wooden shipbuilding tradition in Betina. We have prepared interesting lectures, exhibitions and workshops both for kids and the adults. We are especially looking forward to a Review of Traditional Wooden Ships that will take place in Betina harbor on Saturday, the 13th of August. August 14th is also the anniversary date of the opening of our Museum, and with a traditional sailing regatta “For the Body and Soul”, on the fourth day of the event, we will end this year’s programme of Small Wooden Shipbuilding Days in Betina.
